Recycled Tables
A great looking table has the ability to really make a room, whether it be a dining room or a restaurant. Tables are not only serving a function but making a statement too. What better statement can be made than using a recycled table?! Real rustic style made from timber that has been aged and weathered naturally in the Australian climate.
Our recycled tables are mostly made out of old palings and rails from fences that have been ripped out of people’s gardens. This gives them their true rustic character and each one is 100% unique. We work with fencers and builders who would otherwise have to pay to dispose of the timber which inevitably ends up being incinerated or dumped into landfill. Since we don’t pay for the material we pass this saving on so you only pay for the time it takes to make the recycled table; it’s a win, win!
After we make the recycled table we finish it with several coats of polyurethane varnish. The finish is extremely hard wearing and often used on floorboards. It is food safe so perfect for use in cafe’s and restaurants and easily cleaned by wiping down with a damp cloth or sponge. No need for chemical or bleach cleaners.
Custom Sizes and Styles
We offer standard sizes of table but can also make custom sizes too. From long and skinny to wide and square we can help you get exactly the right shape and size recycled table for your needs.
Many of our custom recycled tables have been made to compliment a particular colour scheme, theme or style. Some of our tables have tones of colour running through them. Some have been stencilled with names or dates of significant events and some even have inlays from wine crates. Whatever idea you might have to make your recycled table truly unique we can help!
