Charred Edge Wall Hung Chalkboard

A premium chalkboard with charred edges. The frame is constructed from 90mm hardwood fence palings. The edges are sanded smooth for a driftwood style finish before being charred and re-sanded.

Once completely smooth the frame has 2 coats of water based polyurethane varnish applied to give it a premium satin finish.

The chalkboard paint has a slightly gritty texture to the touch which allows the chalk to fully stick to the board. It can be wiped clean with a damp sponge and used over and over due to it’s long lasting durability.
