Dining Table And Bench Seats
The simple aesthetic to this rustic dining table and bench seats is what makes it such an appealing focal point to your dining room. The table is made entirely from recycled Victorian Ash fence rails and the bench seats are old floor boards.
Client
Silvia and James Dorking
This young Melbourne couple recently moved into their first home. Trying to keep costs down they inherited numerous pieces of furniture from friends, family and of course the beloved nature strip. They wanted something special to stamp their mark on their new home and we were all too happy to help.
Our Task
Task
Design something a little different to your standard dining table and six chairs. It needed to have a very rustic look and feel but not too chunky and overbearing. We suggested a rustic table top from recycled Victorian Ash fence rails supported by quite lean looped legs. Either side of the table instead of chairs would sit sit two bench seats.
The budget for the table and bench seats: $1,600
